Here’s one of our fantastic Shropshire customers, Alan Tranter, providing the inside info on what it’s like to be an Airband customer.

Alan has been an Airband customer since the beginning of 2019, and decided to switch to Airband after experiencing bleak broadband from BT. Living in shropshire, Alan found broadband to be slow at best, and certainly not enough to keep up with the demands of the whole family. Since discovering his Airband connection, Alan has seen his speeds skyrocket and his service prevail, not only experiencing more of a personal service, but a vastly more reliable one too!

We asked Alan some quick fire questions about his previous broadband service, why he chose Airband, and how Airband helps him to stay connected online doing what he loves. Here’s what he had to say:

What was your broadband like before Airband?

The only supply that was available to us was BT, which was an awful service with speeds of around 2-3Mbps at best. It also kept going off.

Why did you choose Airband as your provider?

Airband seemed the obvious choice as it was obvious BT was not interested in improving the service.

What do you use the internet for the most?

We use the internet for online trading and many personal things such as FaceTime with the family, streaming sports, films, etc. We have also found that Airband as really improved over the past few months with hardly any disruption in service.

What do you like about Airband?

The big thing that Airband do is keeps us informed with texts etc. It also provides a personal service – Oliver is a top guy!

Would you recommend Airband to a friend?

We would recommend Airband as an internet provider, as we have already done. Our neighbour now enjoys the service, it’s cost effective and does what it says on the tin.

If you could sum Airband up in three words, what would it be?

First Class Service.

(It doesn’t get much better than that, if we may say so ourselves! 🙌)
