Bringing fibre broadband to historic village of Clovelly in an amazing “feat of engineering”

The whole team at Airband have been thrilled to be involved in connecting the historic village of Clovelly to our superfast broadband.
Picturesque Clovelly in Devon is renowned as one of the UK’s only privately-owned villages. The village is home to a herd of donkeys, once beasts of burden, who now enjoy the cliff-side views from a stable at the top of the village.
Perched on a cliff-top, its steep, narrow streets are also home to just 300 residents, who until now were unable to access a fast and reliable broadband connection.
But thanks to the experts within our organisation, and working in close partnership with Connecting Devon and Somerset on this most challenging of new installations, this will no longer be the case.
