“We are a small independent family business based at Barnstaple Railway Station, we take great in doing things differently and offering food freshly cooked on-site using wherever possible ingredients from local farmers and suppliers. We cook from scratch our own traybakes and cakes, which can be enjoyed in our multi-gold award-winning Rose Garden and terrace.
Part of our ethos is that we should offer facilities and products not normally found at smaller stations, one of them is to provide detailed Customer information screens for train departures and the station WiFi for rail passengers. Due to how busy the station now is it was key to be able to offer the best possible WiFi via a fibre connection. This is particularly key now with tickets and times sourced online. To do this we worked seamlessly with GWR, DCRP, Lineal and Airband to get fibre installed, so that free fibre WiFi is available to our customers.”
