Charl Tintinger, former Gigaclear CTO, joins Airband

We’re delighted to announce that Charl Tintinger has joined our team at Airband as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Charl joins us from Gigaclear, where he was a CTO for a number of years.

In his role as CTO with us, Charl’s focus will be on rapidly scaling our network capabilities in line with our ambitious growth trajectory. This involves leading the team to build high-capacity, ultra-reliable, Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband networks around the country, serving customers with industry leading, affordable connectivity.

The hire follows a period of fast-paced growth for us, having recently won multiple high-profile, multi-million-pound contracts and received significant investment from Aberdeen Standard Investments. Charls’ appointment is the natural next step in this journey, and his expertise will support us to deliver even better connectivity to those that need it the most.
