Connecting through a VPN

If you are having trouble connecting to your VPN when using Airband, we first recommend checking with your VPN provider to make sure there are no issues with the service.

Once you have checked with your VPN provider and confirmed that there are no issues with the service, please see the following for more information.

If you have a 4G connection

While 4G technology is adequate for simple everyday usage, sometimes you may experience trouble connecting to VPNs.

Please be aware that while Airband provides the equipment to connect your router to the cellular mast, network configuration is limited by the local carriers (O2, EE, Vodafone).

Because of this, we are unable to provide further support for issues connecting to VPN services via 4G connections.

If you have a wireless or fibre connection

If you are still experiencing trouble either connecting or maintaining a connection to a VPN through our service, and you have confirmed that there’s no issue with the VPN provider, please contact our support team via [email protected].
