Redmond Peel

Redmond Peel is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Airband.

Redmond started the company in 2009 and has grown it rapidly to its current incarnation as one of the UK’s largest rural broadband providers, specialising in delivering high speed broadband to homes, business and industry in rural and remote areas. Before Airband, Redmond was a pioneer in the emerging wireless broadband technology in the UK. He created a Midlands-based wireless ISP network in 2001, which was later incorporated into the Airband network infrastructure.

Internationally, Redmond also launched a new wireless network in South Africa in 2006, which he sold in 2016 to Herotel, South Africa’s largest wireless provider.
